Description
This dedication is for my friend Clayton, or better known as KatesFriend. Clayton does a great job at both Poser and Photography work in the gallery, and works well in both. One thing you will notice is he has a great sense of humor, and can always find a way to make people laugh. Literally every time he comments on my images I can't wait to hear what he has to say because I know it's going to make me smile. So many times I've seen in his comments where he refers to his sister Chris and the fun they had growing up, and I sort of feel like he is a kindred spirit because of the love he has for her just like I have for my sister Veronica. When I asked to do a image for him a while back his first response was to tell me this story about his sister Chris, that took place before he was even born. Hope you enjoy reading about it as much as I did, thank you,

Puppy Come From She Bum (For KatesFriend) : When Chris was a toddler she was very close to their black lab named Belle who was pregnant with puppies. Some kids learn about that facts of life from either their parents or at school. Well Chris learned about them first hand through her experience with Belle. Lately Belle had retreated back under the back porch of their house between the boards where no one could reach her. No one except Chris that is who managed to crawl back to check on her beloved Belle as she was giving birth to her puppies. Chris was amazed and helped out in her own way with the delivery during this sacred moment. When it was over Chris gathered up one of the puppies in one hand and a apple in the other hand and walked in the kitched where her Dad was. He looked around and Chris said to him (She Puppies Come From She Bum !) I tried my best to capture the moment that Chris was there with Belle, looking on.

As a kid who spent a lot of time on the farm I can relate to this story of discovery because it is almost word for word my own experience except mine was with a cow :-)

Oh, lol! Tanner is in this image:-) I love the title, what a funny story! My first experience was with a cat and I thought she was hurt and dying. Remember running and screaming to my gran who promptly put me in my room because you just did not show or tell kids about this kind of thing! (the dark ages, lol) Another positive message with this one, never think your child is to young to learn about the miracle of birth and for heaven's sake don't lie to them! When my kids asked questions I told the truth, I may have tempered the story a bit to language they understood but never lied:-) Fabulous image and story Dave, you are just remarkable!

This is so lovely! Wonderful expression of delighted surprise on Chris' face. I love the protective circle Belle and Chris make around the puppies, which goes from Belle's hind legs to the gentle touch of Chris' left hand. Beautiful lighting and shadows! My cats are usually fixed, but my first cat, (Tasha, she is my avatar)had one litter of kittens. She had five kittens and was a bit panicky about it all. She had them on my bed, and it took a while. After the first three, I really needed to take a quick trip to the necessary, but every time I made a move to get up she would look at me and meow piteously. My husband was there but that didn't matter. So I waited with her, in some discomfort, until they were all born and she fell into an exhausted sleep.

Molto curiosa Chriss! La cosa non mi meraviglia affatto : i bimbi sono molto curiosi per natura ( lo sono stato anch'io ).La sua curiosità l'ha portata a vedere il meraviglioso evento della nascita dei cuccioli. Credo che sia stato poi un gran ricordo per la vita.Una bellissima immagine che da vita alle tue parole ! Chriss very curious! It did not surprise me at all: the children are very curious by nature (I have been too). Her curiosity led her to see the wonderful event of the birth of pups. I think it was then a great memory for vita.Una beautiful image that gives life to your words!
