Description

This dedication is for my dear friend Diane or best known as (Rainbows). Diane is one of the most gentle and kind ladies you will ever meet as well as being a very gifted photographer. If your ever feeling a bit down please visit her gallery and I promise the beauty contained in her photos will lift your spirits. Take the time to get to know Diane and you'll discover she truly defines what a lady should be. Diane's favorite childhood memory takes place in Dunham Massey, a civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough Of Trafford, Greater Manchester, England. Please see this link to give you a idea of this amazing setting. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunham_Massey Heaven On Earth (For Rainbows): For a girl born in the city a weekend visit to her Aunt and Uncle at Dunham Massey was like a bit of heaven on earth for Diane. Her Uncle was the gamekeeper at Dunham Massey and his duties were to open the gates for his Lordships car and look after his herd of deer. When Diane would visit her Uncle and his daughter Deborah would take her to the private side of the estate where the deer were kept. There Diane would get to see the new born fawns up close and interact with these adorable animals as they felt safe in their environment. I tried to capture this memory Diane treasured as best I could and hope it can bring a smile to her face. La memoria de infancia favorita de Diane ocurre en Dunham Massey, una parroquia civil en el Barrio Metropolitano de Trafford, Mayor Manchester, Inglaterra. Cuando Diane visitaría a su Tío y su hija Deborah la tomaría al lado privado del estado donde los ciervos fueron guardados. La mémoire d'enfance préférée de Diane survient dans Dunham Massey, une paroisse civile dans la Municipalité Métropolitaine de Trafford, Plus grand Manchester, Angleterre. Son Oncle était le garde forestier à Dunham Massey et ses devoirs étaient d'ouvrir les portes pour sa voiture de Messieurs et soigner son troupeau de cerfs. Quand Diane visiterait son Oncle et sa fille Deborah la prendrait au côté privé de l'état où les cerfs ont été gardés. Là Diane finirait voir les nouveaux faons nés fermer en haut et communiquer avec ces animaux adorables comme ils se sont sentis sûrs dans leur environnement. J'ai essayé de capturer cette mémoire Diane chérie comme le mieux je pourrais et espérer qu'il peut apporter un sourire à son visage. Étreintes de Dave

This is so delightful and fills the heart with joy. I love the expressions on the girls faces. I have to say Dave, that this is my favourite picture of yours that I have seen to date. The reason being is that it is the most natural picture (not that I don't like your ither characters!) The figure you have used for Diane's uncle is possibly the most natural I have seem in this genre and the children are pretty good too. The story and dedication is thoughtful and measured and not OTT (thats an English phrase in case you don't know it meaning 'Over The Top' or just too saccharine/sweet, which I'm afraid I see a bit too often in the galleries. But, then maybe that's just me being British! Anyway, congratulations on this post! Dave

I know Dunham Massey very well Dave, it's just outside Altrincham, on the way to Partington. I have two customers there! lol This is such a precious scene which you have depicted so well. I know Diane will enjoy this....and there's me thinking she was Yorkshire, born & bred! Steve :o)
