Description

The second of this well beloved appalling series on bush droppings: One has to love the artistic touch of this hyena sculpting its faeces, hehe. Note that it's a very bright white because it's very high in calcium content, it does after all scavenge and hardly ever leaves a bone behind. Very brave animals doing a splendid job of recycling in nature.

Brace yourself, if this is not your cup of tea, it will be safe to return to this gallery after the next one or two uploads, lol. I hope you all have a splendid week!

IMPORTANT! Go challenge your fellow photographers in the August forum challenge.

Thank you for kind comments, critique and visits to my previous upload:

A very 'creative eye' to see gnomes and other creatures in this medium. I'll bet you gazed at clouds, as well, when you were a kid. :)

Very interesting image Piet. I have witnessed hyenas with a kill in Thorny Bush and the cracking of the bones were just freaky. They are known to have the strongest jaws in the animal kingdom!!! Great capture my friend. :)
