Dung honeymoon by busi2ness

Hehe, this is my last upload of this dubious nature. I have been called names like dungographer and Renderosity has started a LWitDG (DON'T ask about the "D"! lol) Kidding aside: This is a manly dung beetle taking home a honeymoon present for his bride. She can be seen in a somewhat passive role on the other side of the ball. Her eggs will be laid inside. While making fun of this, bear in mind, these creatures spend a great deal of their lives in dung and therefore, out of respect, we don't drive over dung heaps in the bush.
Now you can relax, something moody and heavy next time, more on par with my age.
See you in the August forum challenge.
Thank you for silly comments, dung-eon humor and visits to my previous upload:

Thank you Piet .. for the smiles today! I've thoroughly enjoyed this series! You could line them up in frames, grins, and hang them from the living room! What a conversation starter that would be. ROFLMAO!!! I too have seen these industrious beetles on the Discover channel. And you have seen the REAL thing!

I think you were a wee bit Dung Ho with this shot Piet lol, I saw this beetle in a book on animals one time, it really is steadfast in it's efforts, sometime rolling this turd for miles, nice one :)

Magali mentioned this beetle in her comment on mine :-) glad I came over for a look. I figure this would be a good way for Karma to sort some people out, when they die send them back as dung beetles! LOL A fantastic action shot.
