To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

The snow has not yet fallen on my roof. Only ashes from a great fire. My feet sometimes remember the dull disappearance that is frostbite setting in and my eyes glaze a bit from shock. I fell from the horse, a grey mare, in heat for her fleeting lover just let out of the barn. The story is a plan I have kept. Now in summer, I await the end of labor and the dismissal of this Communist labor theory of values and work ethic that has fouhgt over me.

Yes this is a really poetic scene and very lovely it is. I can understand why you long for winter, with that heat you are having. Right now it looks more like autumn after the stormy weather it has been here. I wish I could share some of our cool days with you.
