Description
I've wanted to do this dedication for my friend Delia (morghana) for a very long time now. First I should apologize to her for the delay as things have prevented it. Delia is truly a wonderful lady with such a gentle soul, and I am proud to call her my friend. Delia never did a lot of drawings, yet she loved art and longer for a way to express herself. With her discovery of Poser she found a method of expressing her artistic feelings and making her happy. Sadly she is bothered by Osteoarthritis and can't spend much time on the computer or commenting on the work of others. Delia will turn off comments on some of her art because she feel bad since she is not able to respond. I hope you will take the time to look at her art because she really does incredible work and the wonderful lady she is shines through each image. This is Delia's favorite memory of when she was a little girl and I hope you enjoy it. Thanks,

Delia's 5th: (For morghana) Delia grew up in a home filled with a great love of music. Her Father Gerardo was the director of an Orchestra and also an excellent musician. He taught her older sister Angel to play the piano and she won many awards. Delia loved to sit beside her sister each time she would play the piano in their home. There she would watch Angel's every movement and listen to the beautiful melodies as she played music by Beethoven, Liszt and more. Her sister went on to teach music and has since retired but this memory is still cherished by Deliah. Helping to raise three nieces this story really touched me to see the sisters being so close. It is a lovely memory and I only hope I was able to bring it to life and do it justice.
P.S. Please keep my friend (Pops) in your thoughts and prayers.

Oh now this is really cool, I'm getting emails to tell me when you've uploaded new images. It didn't get me onto page 1 though, but I'm working on it! Sweet and thoughtful render magnus, I can see the admiration in Deliah's face. With all the horror stories out there, it's reassuring to hear about caring and loving childhoods. you captured the two people beautifully, Angel in the posture of both teaching and caring (she conveys both) and in shadows of concentration but also happiness to be with her younger sister; and Delia, the eager student, also caring but receiving, as any eager student would. (There are children who don't like to play an instrument, but Delia is obviously one who did; and you've captured it in her face & her hand on the keys—not quite playing, but touching with them with anticipation. A very true touch...) I like that you have Delia sitting with her toy, which is big & bright and makes a wonderful burst between the sisters. Or that, as always, you've shown such human details—i.e., the horse on Delia's blouse, the floral design on Angel's blouse & skirt, etc. And your keyboard is big and commanding with long sleek keys. I studied classical piano many years, and my only question is, what are those little triangles on the keys? Are those to help the student learn them? They may be common enough—I studied years ago and teaching methods change all the time—just curious. I like them, in any case. And your background is beautifully open, a kind of SWestern (US) motif, which makes the often cloistered piano-teacher's studio into an open & airy room to be in. You've done beautifully for your friend, and for the act of passing along an art. It's a beautiful piece as always, which is no surprise by now...

a wonderful, sweet scene, Dave. I love the way she's looking at her sister. the yellow duck is a really nice touch, and the vases and fireplace in the background make this look like a real and comfortable home.

Trust me i know how she feels, i have pain in my hands and fingers after a max of 4 hours on computer and have to take a day or 2 before i can work again, so this is a fabulous Decication

Another great image and Dedi Dave. I'm sure Delia will enjoy it. I also enjoyed playing the piano and practiced every day at lunchtime at school, since we didn't own a piano at home. I'm pretty rusty nowdays. Bravo and best wishes from Dave :^)
