Description
I've wanted to do this dedication for my friend Delia (morghana) for a very long time now. First I should apologize to her for the delay as things have prevented it. Delia is truly a wonderful lady with such a gentle soul, and I am proud to call her my friend. Delia never did a lot of drawings, yet she loved art and longer for a way to express herself. With her discovery of Poser she found a method of expressing her artistic feelings and making her happy. Sadly she is bothered by Osteoarthritis and can't spend much time on the computer or commenting on the work of others. Delia will turn off comments on some of her art because she feel bad since she is not able to respond. I hope you will take the time to look at her art because she really does incredible work and the wonderful lady she is shines through each image. This is Delia's favorite memory of when she was a little girl and I hope you enjoy it. Thanks,
Dave
Delia's 5th: (For morghana) Delia grew up in a home filled with a great love of music. Her Father Gerardo was the director of an Orchestra and also an excellent musician. He taught her older sister Angel to play the piano and she won many awards. Delia loved to sit beside her sister each time she would play the piano in their home. There she would watch Angel's every movement and listen to the beautiful melodies as she played music by Beethoven, Liszt and more. Her sister went on to teach music and has since retired but this memory is still cherished by Deliah. Helping to raise three nieces this story really touched me to see the sisters being so close. It is a lovely memory and I only hope I was able to bring it to life and do it justice.
P.S. Please keep my friend (Pops) in your thoughts and prayers.

Amazingly intimate work. Often so hard to capture emotions expressed by the other gender but you did it so well showing the bond between these two sisters. You have such a gift for expressions and body language, especially those of children. You can tell you are a loving and observant uncle.

Just beautiful! Such a wonderful memory brought to life for her. Wish I could claim that same happiness with my sister but her life was very different, to be shared at another time. The piano music tho I can share as my grandmother played and on Sundays after church we all gathered for singalongs, mostly church hymns but some really fun songs too. Thank you Dave, for sharing the beauty of this moment!

Very nice image and story! I like the expression on young Delia's face, and the way that she is looking at her sister's face. It is the face that shows the love someone has for music, and there is little as rewarding as watching a musician's face as they perform. The rubber duck is a great addition. It reminds me that this scene is not a separate story complete unto itself, but a part of a life, full of interesting happenings. I don't know exactly how the duck fits in but I know that it is a part of her life and another story is there in her hand resting on it. I love the sister's expression. She is aware of her sister's gaze and shows her joy in both her music and in the love of her sister. Excellent!

Superb image, through words, becomes a memory for Delia (a good memory), but also a determination of the value of fraternal love, which many do not make it real consideration. Very nice, Dave, look at your pictures and accompany them with your words!
