My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

very beautiful photo of the jumping herb! Unfortunately it displaces the native wild plants…. In our area it gives already much too much from this weeds…

Clever compo and a color is just a die for. Amazing deep pink, almost cyclamen.

Terrific lighting, Tara!! I've seen this all along the streams, where it looks lovely. Luckily my garden is too dry for it to get a hold.

I have never come across this plant Tara, I have had several dealings however with Japanese Knotweed(Fallopia japonica), a far more agresive invasive plant. Stems may reach a maximum height of 3–4 m each growing season. This is also rampant in the USA and can be found in 39 of the 50, States. This plant of yours is much more aesthetic even though it is a weed. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!

After reading Jeffs comment we both were out among the trees Friday and we encountered lots of this! I know Jeff can't get out walking much but whenever I am out hiking I see this everywhere especially near streams and wet areas. It takes over. Nice shot, the flower is lovely on a not so nice plant! very invasive!
