To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather

Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

Congrats!!!! And this image really suits my mood this week. Excellent work once again. Love it! The colors and layering are wonderful as usual and it illustrates Poe so well. I'm behind in the gallery, too. Still working on setting up my new computer, but I should be back by this weekend to catch up on your work. Great cartoon also. Thanks for making me smile today.

Parchment, moths and old dry leaves scatter thin, whipsy fragments. Whatever is pondered has flatness. If only it had a continuity beyond mere fluttering passage.

Mina, I think this is one of your best images so far! It is fantastically created with superb blending of texture and imagery. The dark colors are just right and not too dark, enabling us to appreciate the complexity of design. I love the visual representation of one who does not yet know the Bright Morning Star. This image is an excellent example of sadness and despair, of a lost soul pondering the reason for its existence. I am reminded with joy, that Jesus Christ came into the world to save lost ones such as this, to bring them Life, and that -to the Full! If I could, I'd rate this a 10+
