To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

Flat out gorgeous! I cannot believe how skillfully you did your layer work on this composition. How when a figure crosses over a background it becomes sharper and/or brighter. I cannot imagine the effort it took to keep all these layers together and to know which one you were working on at the moment. The technical skills to compose this would make it a favourite regardless of the outcome... but the outcome is amazing.
