Could you just imagine we had walk these rocky areas barefoot. Even the harsh terrain on the cooled lava rock trails barefoot. Then civilization came and we had to wear shoes. Now its very difficult to step out of the house without some kind of footwear protection. Ouch! Time has changed. Aloha and thank you for viewing

This is a nice capture Errol. Looks like it is off the beaten path away from the tourists. As to walking without shoe? As kids in Germany we walked barefoot for 7 or 8 months out of the year. Each spring our feet were very sensitive, toward the end of summer beginning of fall we could walk across gravel, glass etc. Then in winter when the foot started to itch some of the stuff we had walked over in summer worked itself out. Usually small pieces of glass. Happy Thanksgiving!

can imagine how it was and how it is to walk without shoes today! they started a test on tv with some people not th wear shoes in winter and they talked about a man who never wears shoes nowadays and he never is ill! ;o)
