Description

I stopped a large store to buy some food and when I came out, I saw many pigeons near my car looking for food in the grass.as I got closer I thought I was seeing a green pigeon but on further looking I realized it was a parrot like bird.I grabbed my camera and started shooting but they kept walking farther from me with each of my steps.I was not able to get good quality captures, then something spooked the pigeons and all flew away there is a colony of the birds living near a local lake.I see them flying over sometimes.first time to see on the ground.the bottom two are the same bird I hope you enjoy them never the less and thanks for looking and any comments

I have a quaker parrot as a pet, so it is really neat to see a photograph of some wild ones. Excellent work!

It looks like a Budgie. It is a lot of times happend that the fly through the open windows and the other birds give them not just a friendly hello!!!Fantastic captured!! Hugs Ute
