Description

I stopped a large store to buy some food and when I came out, I saw many pigeons near my car looking for food in the grass.as I got closer I thought I was seeing a green pigeon but on further looking I realized it was a parrot like bird.I grabbed my camera and started shooting but they kept walking farther from me with each of my steps.I was not able to get good quality captures, then something spooked the pigeons and all flew away there is a colony of the birds living near a local lake.I see them flying over sometimes.first time to see on the ground.the bottom two are the same bird I hope you enjoy them never the less and thanks for looking and any comments

The bird is so beautiful. I love parrots and this looks a little bit like a parrot, and how cool it was that you came to the location and had at least time to get a few pictures of this beautiful bird! Thanx!
