Description

I've been working on this picture for the past couple days. I've discovered that tweaking the bump in the material room can led to good things and sometimes not so good things. When I first rendered this picture, the dragon ended up being a big round crystal looking leathery ball rather than the dragon I had envisioned. Live and learn. I ended up going with a blue MAT for him and no bump tweaking. :) Anyway, in this little picture I wanted to show the dragon landing on the arm of his mistress rather than having him sitting there. (And she's probably wearing something very thick under the sleeve of her outfit becasue of those claws.) :) Please view at full size. Lots to see! Probably, like most hawkers, there really isn't much on her arm, just enough to give the dragon a grip -they are trained not to squeeze because they have enough force to rip through any leather in a flash - which one I am refereing to you can guess. Great rainbow affect with a dynamic blue over-riding. Clearly he is coming in through the portal and framing is well done. Textures turned out very well in the end, dragon looks leathery.
