My favorite beach in Georgia...been there a bunch of times. And I've climbed the stairs in this very lighthouse. But I haven't been there at night...this is a real treat and a neat photo.

first, speaking of good messages, Bill is online as I write this! Wow! So soon and he's back viewing! Well that's a great sign! As for this shot, it's something, because you boldly let it fill the frame, top to bottom, no space at top, it just takes over; and it's dead center, you're not going for angles, etc; and that's a bold choice. And it works! And the light is the thing, and yet the shot is about dark too; strong contrast and visual impact. And really nice detail on the lights inside too. Another in your face capture. I really like it! (And what's a Fresnal? Tara wrote 'Fresnal'—she even capitalized it! I want a 10 page dissertation with footnotes! A Fresnal??? Isn't that in California? ha ha ha ha...shut up, mark.) (fresno??? tell me you didn't miss that!) Dynamite jokes aside, I really like this shot!

They have nice street lanterns there in Georgia (LOL)..... For a Berlinian like me who lives hundreds of kilometers away from the sea lighthouses have had always a lot of spirit.... It smells like sea, holidays, adventures, maybe danger.... Normally it`s rare to see a lighthouse, and normally it is from the distance. To see it so close and in full function is great, great, great.... The pic is well done, thanks for sharing your impressions ith us.
