Description

At about 4.00 p.m. (local time):I'm beginning to see a light at the ned of the tunnel of the mess in my room. Unless, after so much effort, I find that I have moved things from here to there, and viceversa. Make the Move! Actually, the fact that I discarded something means that I have room to fill in! Which makes me think of an old film I watched at the TV some days ago: The Leopard (1963) by Luchino Visconti. The Leopard is set in the Sicily of the Kingdom of the Two Siciles in the mid-1800s, just before and during the conquest by Garibaldi for the Kingdom of Savoy (which later became Italy). It's a masterful ode to a Sicilian prince who seeks to preserve his family's aristocratic way of life by marrying off his nephew to the beautiful daughter of a wealthy, boorish merchant. The lush drama culminates with an elaborate and memorable ballroom sequence. One of the main characters is Prince Don Fabrizio of Salina (a stellar Burt Lancaster), who realizes that he must do something, if he wants the House of Salina to remain powerful in a new world that is going to be dominated by the middle class, not the aristocracy. The answer comes to him in the form of his nephew Tancredi (an impossibly handsome Alain Delon), an ally of the new forces, that says that "If we want things to stay as they are, things will have to change". It looks the philosophy of my room, which has a soul of its own! BTW this one is a posterized shot of a school of fish in a small lake in the Adirondacks (NY). They are in the shadow of a small bridge, and are going to the light of the other side of the bridge. Thank you for your kind comments.

Sweet!!! I find it a bit unnerving at times, once I came to realize that change is the only thing that will ever remain totally constant in our lives. I sounds more like an oxymoron, but then time waits for no one. I need to see that movie!

Great fish shot and I am glad you are starting to see the light. I hate when I realize I have gotten rid of something I could have found space for.

there is deep meaning in here ,not only for your room heheheh. good luck with the room. ps i am a somewhat maybe over-exact people-although i was worse while still in work life. now i calmed down a bit also let things be sometimes ,but thats my nature. i was working most of my professional life in logistics and stock supervising. but on the other hand this straight forward thinking an only logics helped me a lot with pcs over the last 20 years. so we always have both sides.hihihi, you made me philosophing here at 0530 in the morning. wish you a nice sunday. and thanks very much for visiting my galleries and supporting me. that is highly appreciated.
