My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Everyone should have gates/doors like this. I have seen this many times, and it's odd that I never photographed it. I couldn't have done better than this. You captured so much of what lies around this by simply focusing on the quiet, and yes, by Chicago standards, ancient grace. Funny, in Chicago, ancient stretches back only about 100 years...but wow...when it's done like this, it's done right!

Nicely capture Tara. Looks like the solid area in the center of the doors is design to prevent picking the locks maybe?
