Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

This is so awesome...I would love to have a huge room with all my little village pieces and parts in it like this...with a railway system and everything...would be so incredible.

WHat a fantastic model landacape. I thought it was real at first. Amazing. I have always been fascinated by such kind of models. Excellent capture taken from a perfect POV.

I love train models. This is a shot from train heaven........

This is a CoreyBlack shot in that he'd love it...he could name every car in it; and maybe tell you a thing or two about the trains themselves. Heck, if there's duct tape holding any part of this thing together, he'd find it. Which basically means that this is an amazing photo. I've seen that train setup many times and it's always intriguing because it doesn't change, but it never looks the same way twice, either. There's always something to discover in it. I've always liked it and when I was a child, I always wanted to put one of my little toy dinosaurs in it, just to see if anyone would notice. And so you see how evocative and good this photo is, because it's made me go off on a tangent about duct tape and dinosaurs, while I should be heading out as I have things to do. But ah...I couldn't resist peeking in here and catching sight of this gem. Great work.

I understand there is one bigger in Germany, but there ain't one that is better. Another great shot, Bill, to make up for the ones I muffed.
