(Bug Comic)
It's May of 2402 and Bryan has been just working, going to class, and being a TA for Biology 101. On this Friday night he'd just finished grading a pile of finals, including one written in pink pen and decorated with hearts. Since the perp had signed her name, he handed Trish's (Date no.12 in "The Year of Dating Stupidly") test over the other TA to grade, and went home, to find a note from Leo (Date #1)asking him to go to a hockey game. Since Bryan didn't feel like trying to watch a hockey game while swatting Leo off between quarters, he went to the lamest club he knew, the Toona Fish, which had 2 things to recommend it--it was across from the University, and Leo wouldn't be caught dead there. The headliner was indeed bad, so Bryan went to the bar to order a ginger ale and go home, and the only other guy at the bar looked like he was checking Bryan out.
In fact, he was--he was making a checklist:
--no glasses, so corneas should be fine
--ordered ginger ale, probably not a heavy drinker, good liver,
--good general health, shiny hair. In other words, an ideal donor. Camo guy would like to get a look at his teeth too.
So the guy in camo pants bought Bryan a beer, and pushed it over to him, putting his palm over the top of the glass to let some of the contents of the tiny bottle in his other hand run around the rim. Camo guy's left palm is numb now, but he's right-handed so it doesn't matter. Bryan can't quite figure this guy out, but he's telling some great stories about Alaska and hunting there, so Bryan is willing to listen. Bryan's not really a beer drinker,though, and the beer is a lot more bitter than he remembered, so he's trying to figure out how to dump out the rest of it without looking rude.

It can be dangerous accepting drinks from strange Mer, particularly one that keeps a list that sounds like he deals in wholesale body parts. Need a liver?

Can he pick them or what? LOL he's probably attracted to his dangerous aura. Everybody wants a little excitement out of the ordinary sometimes. Now we're in another cliffhanger. Did he ingest enough to knock him out? Will he wise up quickly? Stay tuned to this comic!!!

Bryan! Don't fall for this pirate! A most excellent work of art! I love the expressions and setting as well as the story, setting up such suspenseful possibilities! I am afraid to see what will happen next, but I sure hope to find Bryan alive and well and still in one piece! Great creativity and imagination here! Very well done!

Cool looking bar. Gotta love that neon fish on the wall. Wonderful lighting - love how the light highlights their bodies. Great posing too. I sincerely hope Bryan gets a clue soon and gets out of there. I doubt the donor thing will go well. Yikes - he has bad luck with dates.
