Description

I wanted to thank all of you for all of the wonderful comments on my last photo of the hawk. I have said it before but this is such an awesome community of artist and people, and it is a pleasure to be a part of such a wonderful group that can daily encourage and support each other, so thanks to you all. I am going to be entering 3 of my photos to a gallery in Galveston Texas, thanks to the encouragement of a friend, so wish me good luck there. And I have taken the advice some of you suggested as to keeping a camera with me, I usually keep an extra point and shoot (Kodak) camera in the car, and I actually had two but my son had asked me after he knew I had bought a new camera if he could buy one of those off of me, so I thought instead of that I I would wrap one of them up box and all, and give it to him as a Christmas present, along with some extra batteries, he was so excited when he got it, he told me when he called I don't know what I liked the best your Christmas tree cookies or the camera, lol so now he calls me every few days to tell me what he's taken photos of last week it was a raccoon that was out in the yard, and mostly its cars, so he is having fun with that. Well, let's see now, I'd say those are either roses or camelias, but I'm no floral expert, Lynell. I just take pictures of them. In any event, a phenomenal ambiance illuminates this lovely portrait.
