Description
I have had this image in my files for way over a year now! I captured it at the Lion and Rhino Park just about 45 minutes drive north of where I live! They raise (amongst others) tigers and cheetahs in semi-captivity to help raise funds for the protection of both endangered species. This clown worked with two Bengal tigers and completely freaked me out! He allowed this 300pound + animal to lay on top of him and lick his head! Yikes first of all and 'I think NOT' secondly!!!! Anyway - I thought it would be either amusing or entertaining!

That is one HUGE kitty!!! So beautiful. but I don't think I'd be brave enough to try this! His paw is as big as the guy's face!!! Regal cat!!

Obviously no one ever taught this tiger that you are not supposed to play with your food. Excellent capture. For years I've been telling people there are no tigers in Africa. I guess I'll have to amend that.

First, and most importantly of all, Carin, better him than me!!! Supremely stellar capture of the beautiful and hopefully fully tamed tiger, lying prone upon the back of the clown, who in turn is lying upon a horizontal beam of some sort. Now, that's entertainment! And, gorgeous lighting and textures in this super shot, young lady!

Well now I don't feel quite so put upon when our 17+ pound Fozz lays on my head and licks my nose... This fellow obviously really trusts his bond with this big kitty. Awesome capture on your part, wonderful colouration in the image too. : )
