Description

Here's the character sheet for Bryan's family, much easier to put together than Rain's family;) (Though Bryan *does* have a lot of cousins, I won't name any of them for you). First up is Bryan's "big sister" Vanessa, who is the quiet, "good girl", slightly fussy, sister. I suspect she's a lot tougher than she looks, but she's the one with perfect manners and perpetual calm. Then there is Bryan's mom, the brilliant, affectionate Mrs. Mei Kim, nervous hoverparent, Doctorate of Law (and Library Science) who runs the law library and influences much of how the University of Ellesburg School of Law operates through a network of admin assistants, and control of the copier;) Then there's Priscilla, "Petunia" Kim, Insurance investigator and 5-foot-tall badass. While she is not always easy to get along with, she adores her little brother. And while she thinks bugs are boring, she's proud of how smart Bryan is. And of course here's Bryan himself, strangely accident-prone; soaking wet and in trouble yet again in a future render. Next the kittens, wreaking havoc on the Christmas creche (Mrs. Kim is Methodist, like many Mer--they like the "service to community" that Wesley preached. Only Vanessa attends church with her, neither Petunia or Bryan feel inclined to do so.) And finally the mysterious "Mr. Dae", who happened to lift out Mei Kim's baby request at the same time he dropped his own request in at the Mer Shrine. He read it, and turned around to ask Mrs. Kim if it was hers. (Both were terribly unorthodox things to do, but a good thing for Bryan, as it turned out). "Mr. Dae" as far as Bryan knows, "works at the Corea Embassy" and writes at least once a week, and more if Bryan is struggling with something. Here he's congratulating Bryan on the Allen prize, and also telling him it's time that Bryan found "someone worthy of him" rather than fishing in bars. (Bryan had written "Mr. Dae" a long letter the Friday night he ran into Bart Ford) ("The Thirteenth Date" in my gallery, if you need to loop back.) _________________ It's going to be a couple days until I get Rain's page up, while I make a couple of people I haven't gotten around to modelling yet. ---------------- "Mr. Dae's" teacup is from RDNA, and yes, it matches Mrs. Kim's in "The 11 o'Clock News."
