Description

This image is dedicated to Monica, (mgtcs). She is a fantastic artist, and a wonderful lady. She does work in (Poser) and creates the most beautiful images you will ever see. Her images have a beauty and style that is all her own. She adds a special magic to each image that everyone loves. Monica is from Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil and has many wonderful memories of her childhood. Her Mother HYGIA GOMES TEIXEIRA, was a teacher. Hygia managed to teach many classes each day and also take care of her home and raise Monica. She was an amazing lady that was loved by everyone. She taught in school up until the day she passed on, as teaching children was her passion. Her funeral was filled with students of all ages, who's lives she had forever touched. Moments With My Mom (For mgtcs): Monica was one of the smartest children in school, and was reading by the age of four. Her Mom Hygia taught Monica the importance of learning and she developed a love for reading that has lasted all of her life. Hygia loved Monica so very much, and set aside time each night to spend with her daughter. Hygia would set on the couch and lift Monica up next to her. Monica would set as close to her Mom as possible, and the fun would begin. Hygia would hold Monica while reading countless stories to her including one's about her beloved Brazil. After a while Monica would drift off to sleep in the soft embrace of her Mom, comforted by her voice. For me this story was like Monica herself, very beautiful and touching. Update: Thank you for the prayers for my Mom, she is home now recovering from her stroke. Everyone here has always treated me with such love an compassion and I apologize for not being a better friend lately.

Wow, Dave, so excited when I saw your ebot. Even more special it is about our dear friend Monica. Dave, I am so sorry about your mom. I did not know. I know how difficult this time is for you and your family as I also take care of a mother that has had a stroke. Physiotherapy, patience and love from her family will help your mom get better. Will keep you and your family in my prayers. Hugs Liz

the is no need for you to apologize... I've heard well wishes for your Mother, but I did not know she had a stroke - I'm glad she's back at home... It is so great to see you post, they seem to be getting less and less, but you're the man when it comes to visiting - I always look for your comments and hope that you post more often. Your posing/characers/scene/render are superb.

Gives one a sad smile and a shiver. This is a beautiful story and tribute to Monica. You really caught the pure joy of being a daugther embraced by a compassionate mother. So many fewer children these days get to partake in this gentle bonding ritual. I am sorry that I did not know about your Mom's stroke. Take care and blessed be.

Dave, my friend, I just have no words do say how sweet and touching this is for me. I'm still crying! My Mom was indeed a very special person and I miss her everyday. You dedication brought back some of my dearest memories of her. Loved that photo on the wall, it's my favorite picture of us. I cannot thank you enough. :_) I'm very glad to know that your mother is recovering. She is still in my prayers. As you can tell, I know the value of a good mother!

This is a fantastically touching story and image; beautifully told and I can tell that you took a lot of time and care in creating this render. I'll even hazard a guess that the picture on the wall is Monica and her mother -- what a wonderful touch. You've done Monica and her mother a great honor with this. Congrats.

Excellent work on this one Dave. You seem to put a lot of time into the posing and expressions because the scene is very lifelike and natural in appearance. And this is a lovely and touching tribute to Monica who is indeed a very supportive member of the community here. Anyways, don't worry about us, you take care of your family and your mother. I'm really glad to hear that she's home and into recovery. Coming back from a stroke requires a lot of effort and support from those around you so you have the right priorities right now. We'll all be hear when times get better for your mother and yourself. And as always are thoughts are with you and your Mom. Cheers! BTW: What did you think of 'The Starlost'?

Dave, it is so wonderful and heartwarming to see you posting your sweet work again. The news of your Mom being home is really good to learn. I think that is a big relief. A real burden lifted. Your creation for Monica is something she cannot help but love. It is special. You tell the story of she and her Mom so beautifully. You are always here for everyone, everyday. To know that you felt like making a picture again sharing that part of yourself again is awesome. Now keep making more! Hugs my friend....

Dave, Dave, Dave (What are you doing Dave...) You've gone through some tough times lately, so don't sweat it. Sometimes a fella has to sit out a round or two and have a cuppa till things quit spinning. Especially when your opponent in the great game of Life is named something like "Meat", and has your name tattoo'd on his knuckles!

such a lovely story about monica :) and the image is as only you could create--a beautiful quiet, private moment between mother and child...so sorry to hear about your mom...do hope that she makes a speedy, full recovery...my mother had a severe stroke almost 10 years ago and unfortunately has spent all those years in a nursing home--no joy in seeing one's parents grow old and sick...
