Description

This image is dedicated to Monica, (mgtcs). She is a fantastic artist, and a wonderful lady. She does work in (Poser) and creates the most beautiful images you will ever see. Her images have a beauty and style that is all her own. She adds a special magic to each image that everyone loves. Monica is from Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil and has many wonderful memories of her childhood. Her Mother HYGIA GOMES TEIXEIRA, was a teacher. Hygia managed to teach many classes each day and also take care of her home and raise Monica. She was an amazing lady that was loved by everyone. She taught in school up until the day she passed on, as teaching children was her passion. Her funeral was filled with students of all ages, who's lives she had forever touched. Moments With My Mom (For mgtcs): Monica was one of the smartest children in school, and was reading by the age of four. Her Mom Hygia taught Monica the importance of learning and she developed a love for reading that has lasted all of her life. Hygia loved Monica so very much, and set aside time each night to spend with her daughter. Hygia would set on the couch and lift Monica up next to her. Monica would set as close to her Mom as possible, and the fun would begin. Hygia would hold Monica while reading countless stories to her including one's about her beloved Brazil. After a while Monica would drift off to sleep in the soft embrace of her Mom, comforted by her voice. For me this story was like Monica herself, very beautiful and touching. Update: Thank you for the prayers for my Mom, she is home now recovering from her stroke. Everyone here has always treated me with such love an compassion and I apologize for not being a better friend lately.

Wow what a beautiful image and dedication to Monica, a super lady and artist also.. It is a really touching one too, Mums are very important part of our lives and often we don't realize how much until they are ill in some way or passed on to be with the Lord.. I am also sorry to hear your mum has had a stroke, I didn't know either.. I feel for you both and will uphold both her and yourself in prayer and thought Dave. Take care my friend...

An awesome dedi for a nice and kind friend. It shows a moment of love between mother and child. Its good your mother is home again and recovering there. However good a hospital/nursinghome is it never compares to someones home although sometimes there is no choice. I know you also have a bit of hard time and my prayers go out for you both. You know you can always write me if you want/need to talk. Hugs

Seeing the notifier that you once again had posted one of your heartwarming masterpieces, I couldn't wait to see it; it did not let me down! So missed this - and so glad that your mother is home, and hopefully on the mind - you are the sweetheart of all here because of this magical thing you do - CARE! I call it magical, because so few have that special quality, in our day and age, it is fading rapidly - so you - are a breath of fresh air, and we all cannot help but come where you are, and then, INHALE deeply! Fantastic story of Monica and her mom, and happy to see you here once more.

Amazing image, you have achieved such a wonderful scene that is touching and full of love. It is a fantastic dedication to Monica and her mother. I am very glad to hear your mom is recovering from her stroke. It can be a tough time for many, depending on the degree of disability left behind by the stroke. I work with stroke victims every day, and one thing that always needs to be done is to help folks focus on what their strengths are, what they can still do. It is far too common people will focus only on what is lost and that can lead to depression and feeling of frustration, instead they need help to focus on things they are still able to do. The physio and such are always important too, but the emotional state can enable a more complete and rapid recovery than any other factor.

dont you dare apologise dave..you are one of the finest persons i know in the net and thats no small talk from the doc bro. this story and image is soo very touching and brings back memories to me. my mother was not able to read books to me as she was one of the elder daughters as a child (thats was 8 or 10 brothers and sisters)she was supposed to wipe the other sisters asses and her brothers as well.which left no time for her to go to school, i am speaking of about 1936 around that time. and later on her younger sisters which had nothing better to do than look beautiful married some richy guys and looked at my mother from above. maybe my mother had reading in her genes because starting with my 6th birthday i did not received any crap santa claus toys but books, which gave me the opportunity to learn and get something into my brains as to be able to break the circle of low quality life and violence and all the rattail of problems what goes with that growing up in a rough-workers surooundings. all this i get from this beautiful work of yours and i thank you for that. hug your mom its precious.

Once again I will say "thank you Dave". Thank you for that humility and thoughtfulness that are yours... Reading one of your texts and discovering a new image of yours is always a very nice moment. Because I know that there will be nostalgia, sweetness, love, laughters and sometimes tears. Your creations are LIFE... Thank you for that my Friend! Your mother will be in my prayers. I wish that she feels better very soon and that she does completely recover from her illness. And of course may you be happy Dave! :o) Your friend, Philippe
