BIO I'm an illustrator, and for the last 15 years I have been doing almost exclusively digital work--mostly covers for e-books and small presses; fantasy, SF and Paranormal Romance covers are my specialty. I use Poser, Photoshop and Painter, and a nifty little paint program called ArtRage. I have been lucky enough to have work shown on the BBC's The Sky at Night, done promotional artwork for the Hugos, and have digital art tutorials published in Michael Burn's Femme Digitale and Digital SciFi Art (Watson-Guptill 2004) as well as DVD covers, cd covers and e-book covers, most recently for Liquid Silver Books, Edge/Tesseract and Dragon Moon Press. I'm also a member of the International Association of Astronomical Artists. . When I have time, I do acrylic paintings for fun.
Commissions: I do 3d texturing and backgrounds now rather than book covers, and I do appreciate a good UV template to work on. Thanks for checking out my bio!

~I may seem silly for asking, but why not re-light and re-render? Anyway you did a bang up job of painting links! I admire your persistence! He's a good looking fellow and is on my wish list, but I doubt I could ever get him to look as dashing as you did here!~

wow. i am absolutely blown away by your patience and determination. i don't think i would have made it tot he top of that mountain. great job on the pose; he really looks like his in the middle of sneaking over a fence. and cool idea to have him use a piece of cardboard to shield himself. i think if the background had a little more value contrast, it might make the image pop a bit more. that said, it feels like an illustration, like it's part of a narrative with a concrete location and events. which is really impressive with such an impressionistic background. a very good use of a good looking character.

I've got a copy of William Gibson's novel Spook Country sitting not too far from my computer as I type this comment and I am--as usual--making all sorts of associations. This is--in a sense--a kind of Gibson-ish image in that it's dark and brooding, featuring a dark haired guy climbing a fence he probably shouldn't be climbing...and he's likely to either meet an ex-CIA spook, or in a more futuristic way, about to get a rather nasty downloaded neruo-jamming dose of bad data from the guard dogs on duty. Oooh, there's an idea...I think I'm gonna do some writing tonight. This image rocks. I love it.
