I was very moved as soon as I saw it, and still am now, and I was so sorry I couldn't comment then. I guess you know by now how much I've loved your flower shots, how you go past the usual view so many of us look at in flowers, and how you capture all kinds of sides & personalities in flowers, all kinds of inner essences & mysteries, etc. Your composition makes this flower invade the darkness and send its light 'into' it, it speaks of another world beyond the frame flowing into this one; your background is present, not just 'background', and the flower reaches into it with full bodied light, just beautiful.
