Description
One of our most beautiful Gold Coast beaches has to be Currumbin Beach - you can see Elephant Rock sticking out of the water, like a sore thumb ...
BTW the BG high-risers are in Broadbeach with Surfers Paradise in the haze and faraway, that's were we like it !
We had been invited by friends for a sumptuous lunch at the Vikings SLSC (Surf-Lifesaver-Club).
It was one of those hot and hazy, lazy, crazy days of Summer, expecting a storm front to be building up - very gradually - nobody could give a toss, we were happy and content, having had a feast of seafood, wine and ... good friends around!

Being originally from New York...the high rises don't surprise me but the beautiful surf in the hazy foreground is so inviting. This provides a real feel for your surroundings BB.
