Description
One of our most beautiful Gold Coast beaches has to be Currumbin Beach - you can see Elephant Rock sticking out of the water, like a sore thumb ...
BTW the BG high-risers are in Broadbeach with Surfers Paradise in the haze and faraway, that's were we like it !
We had been invited by friends for a sumptuous lunch at the Vikings SLSC (Surf-Lifesaver-Club).
It was one of those hot and hazy, lazy, crazy days of Summer, expecting a storm front to be building up - very gradually - nobody could give a toss, we were happy and content, having had a feast of seafood, wine and ... good friends around!

Gorgeous image! The skyline hushed in a soft haze, is a wonderful contrast to the the waves and sunseekers in the foreground. In the water and along the sand the layers of green and tan are beautiful. I love the bright red of the kite and warm colors of the sunlit Elephant Rock. Beautiful beach and capture! It sounds like a wonderful time!
