Description

I am still practising to paint digitally, and painted this in Photoshop CS4 using wacom intuos3. This is a handsome African Lion, so what can I say, I just love all cats whether big or small. Hope you like this everyone, it took a while to paint, and to those who visit here regularly you will notice by the background, that in fact originally he was part of 'Bastet - Egyptian Cat Goddess ' artwork, but thought he deserved the starring role on his own, so I removed him and here he is standing proud. I thoroughly enjoyed this challenge, and loved creating his amazing mane. Many thanks for your visit, and to those who have kindly commented and faved previously I appreciate it so very much. Sis, first of all let me tell you how truly blown away I am be the detail in this one. You couldn't have done a better job in bringing this magnificent lion to life, everything about this is perfect. Your art is always great, and you have such a gift for making the animals you paint literally come to life on the screen. Love the look in his eyes, and the regal manner he carries himself.

Incredible detail Jane, as well as the stunning fur the eyes and whiskers are awesome. For those on here that have never tried to paint have a go, for those of us who have tried we know how good this is. One for you to be proud of and an enjoyment for us to view.
