Description

I am still practising to paint digitally, and painted this in Photoshop CS4 using wacom intuos3. This is a handsome African Lion, so what can I say, I just love all cats whether big or small. Hope you like this everyone, it took a while to paint, and to those who visit here regularly you will notice by the background, that in fact originally he was part of 'Bastet - Egyptian Cat Goddess ' artwork, but thought he deserved the starring role on his own, so I removed him and here he is standing proud. I thoroughly enjoyed this challenge, and loved creating his amazing mane. Many thanks for your visit, and to those who have kindly commented and faved previously I appreciate it so very much. This is so marvelous!!! The detail, highlights, subtle differences in the color of his fur, and his beautiful eyes are all just amazing. The different textures of his fur are superb! He is absolutely gorgeous and definitely deserves his place alone to shine. I love cats too and you have done the King of the Beast full justice here! Excellent! I love it!
