Description

Back to Naples Beach on the west coast of Florida. This is a plover. They dart back and forth along the edge of the water and is looking for bits of food. There are a half dozen of this species and the juveniles can look very much alike. My best guess, with the help of the National Geographic Field Guide of Birds, this is a Wilson's Plover.
