Description

Three young people angling on the river Bacchiglione, about 50 metres from my house. They don't row, but are carried by the relatively swift current of the river. The 'bricole' are those poles stuck in the river bed, signalling the shallows. The name of the bridge is Trieste Bridge, and in the background there is the Renaissance Venetian bastion and the park called Arena (because of the remains of a Roman arena). I don't know what they can fish, catfish aside, in this part of the river. Much more likely they will catch parts of bycicles, rags and old shoes... Thanks for your kind comments.

What a great photo of these kids having fun in this lively area near your home. I'm sure you must spend a lot of time in this area as it seems an ideal setting for relaxing. Hope they catch some fish :)
