Pencil 2b from these stage 1 and stage 2 till the completed piece. For November Theme Chiaroscuro in 2d Forum: real size 15 per 21 cm.Time for doing it: aprox 1 hour (it's not uneasy to do it that quick: I mean, the piece is very small!)

Nice job...I like how you utilize white/gray/black in your sketches. So many artists seem to shy away from using dark shading. It's refreshing to see someone who doesn't. (Regardless of the theme's influence, mind you :) )

It is really a very nice piece. What astonishes me - the dragon looks friendly, surprised. Sigurd is a very young guy, and not threatening at all.
I like the way you framed the center with darkness, I like the diagonal composition coming from the two "persons". I don't like that you cut off Sigurd's feet...
