Description

Traveling together through the Alps in February I suddenly asked my cousin to stop, because I saw something spectacular. Surrounded by water this small island was still covered with snow. It is just that moment my eye fell on this, else this jewel would have been passed without notice. It is the Fernsteinsee in Austria. Thanks for your attention

I am glad you stopped. The image demonstrates beautifully a Japanese art form of cultivating miniatre trees called Bonzai. This images almost looks like a Bonzai plant. Thank you for sharing such a magical spot. V

At first I thought it was a Bryce image because it is so surreal. It is beautiful. The colours are so intense. The contrast between the blue water and the white snow........... Love it
