~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ The third upload from my 'Images of Bruges' series shows the 'deep' reflections of the varied brick and tile work on the canalside buildings and the now almost bare branches of the overhanging trees. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Bruges is known as the Venice of the North and has a network of pretty canals and bridges, with many swans, ducks and waterfowl. In the warmer months there are narrow sightseeing boats carrying keen tourists, eagerly snapping photographs. What a clear and perfect reflection! I love the beautiful bright colors added to these buildings! It changes the whole appearance to beautiful and quaint. Perfect focus, perfect light balance, You have given me a great feel for the place, and a longing to see it. I love it.

I know Brugge.. have been there several times. This image is very beautiful, mainly because of the refelctions in the water, but also the colors in general..

Dear Gordon, your shots managed to make a miracle. They made me changed my mind about towns and cities! Before I discovered your work, I used to think that towns were just stinky and dirty concrete heap. I now know I was wrong. This is a Christmas miracle... Splendid shot!

Lovely sharp reflections and you can see that some of the blue sky was showing through the clouds! Living right next to the canal, I wonder if those houses have cellars!
