Description
The wind blows all those ice-crystals and ice behaves a little bit different than sand. Remarkable little layers of ice appear to be formed by the continuing gusting winds.

Yes, fabulous lighting and I can almost hear the wind creating those formations as it chills the ears! I like that area to the top left where you can just see through to the next mountain.

I don't know in which part of switzerland you live but this morning, we need 2 hours to go from Geneva to Lausanne. The reason is the "bise" blowing so strongly and chasing the snow over the icy roads! If you go outside today around the leman lake, you will see exactly the same kind of pictures than the one you submit today. AND I JUST FORGET TO TAKE MY CAMERA... I'M A BUMMER!!!!... and you're a genius!

I am in total awe when i look at this!! how you've captured the wind blowing the snow is just exquisite. i don't think i can tell you how this one blows me away!! what niu says...about this being like a movie scene....yes...it's like i'm at the cinema looking at this. i feel like i'm in the image itself...as soon as i see it...BAM!! I'm there! there no "jumping in" the image. This one just picks me up and grabs me and i'm right there down low flying over it!!
