I live in Bradley County, not very far south of you. I am very sorry to hear of your loss.
This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

Please accept my deepest sympathies,........my wife is my life, I cannot imagine such a loss,.........would that we could be with you in body at this time, please take some small measure of solace in this time of adversity that we here are all with you in spirit. The world is diminished by her passing. Blessings upon you and yours,........Tom(sackrat).

And in my final hours - I would cling rather to the tattooed hand of kindness - than the unblemished hand of hate...

There are a lot of things worse than dying, being afraid all the time would be one.
Wish I had something more original to say, but "deepest condolences to your family and you" sums up what I'm feeling very well. She will live on forever in your memories. David

This is so sudden and unexpected that one can hardly find the words to express the acknowledgement of what must be your most trying and darkest hour. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to you and your family. May you find peace and tranquility in your heart in the face of adversity.
I am struck with a loss for words concerning your sudden loss Electroglyph. Please accept my deepest and most sincere sympathies to you and your family and friends. I shall keep you in my prayers. May God bless you through your time of grief. Wade

My deepest and sincere sympathies for your loss, my prayers to you and your family. Please, you know we are all here for you if you need someone to talk to, I can't imagine how awful this is for you, sending a little magic your way...in this darkest of times remember to celebrate her life. This poem has always helped me in a time of loss: Don't stand by my grave and weep For I'm not there, I do not sleep I am a thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glint on snow I am the sunlight on ripened grain I am the gentle autumn's rain. I'M NOT HERE When you awaken in morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circle flight I am the soft stars that shine at night Do not stand at my grave and cry I am not there, I did not die

electroglyph, One of my best friends in college was named John Henry. I also think it is one of the names John Wayne was called in one or more of his movies. All that aside, this is a sad day for you - I can not hope to express the huge sadness that you must be feeling now. I can not express nor even hope to know what you must be feeling at this point but I grieve with you. I don't know that that will make you feel any better, but my condolences are genuine for what that is worth. I can only hope that your pain abides over time. sincerely, - TJ
Oh John my heart aches for your loss. My thoughts are with you and please know that if you need to talk at any time I am here for you. You wife sounds like an amazing, wonderful, woman, and none of us can fully appreciate the grief you must feel at this time, but remember that she will always live through you and your children. Be well and I send you hugs to keep you strong. Catlin
This is heartbreaking news. I'm so sorry, God be with you and your family.

"I want to be what I was
when I wanted to be what I am now"
I dont know what I expected when I posted this message. Certainly nothing like the generous outpouring I received. To those of you who responded in this forum and in private, my heartfelt thanks. I considered an answer for several days. The details I thought to post on this forum would have been very hurtful, and I am glad now they never reached this page. I was half-mad for a couple of days (some of you would say Only that long? Youve been crazy since you started posting in this forum.). Suffice to say, I have lots of family around. Lots of family here as well as it turns out. I thank you all again. I may have to miss a week or two at a time. Death is more like a slow avalanche. There are a hundred details like doctor bills, property, and who made coffee in the mornings, which careen down after the fact, demanding immediate attention. I will check in and eventually be back.
Electroglyph, you take as long as you need to get your life in order, you need not concern yourself with us, you have enough to worry about. We know that you are going through a hard time, so if at anytime you need to talk, just give us a shout. You and your family are in our thoughts. Hold strong my friend and peace be with you.
