Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 15 11:01 am)
If you have Photoshop, load your stone texture, then create a new layer over it. Set your foreground color to white, your background color to black and go Filter: Render: Clouds. Then change that layer to multiply or overlay and reduce the opacity down. This will give an uneven, streaked dirtiness to the layer below. Save this as a new texture. Now your floor stone will look different from your wall texture, and it will be dirtier. You can also try using white and brown for your colors for a more earth-dirt effect. I'm sure PSP would have something similar, but I'm a novice at PSP. Hope this helps, Cres
If you've got metaforms you could use that for dirt. And also if you have Poser 5 (sorry I can't remember if you do) you could use a modified version of Ajax' slime shader

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

Yeah that is a good idea, PabloS. Perhaps even something like my super morphing sheet? then you could make it "bulge" a little?

marque, It's probably a bit late now, since you seem to have it sorted out, but I'll throw it in for future reference. I have a medieval chamber (at DAZ) with an 'uneven' flagstone floor (you can see a pic at the link). I deliberately made the flagstones and walls rough and uneven and mapped the flagstones randomly, so that each stone picks up a different part of the texture. Seems like it would do what you're after. Oh, and there's a wall-sconce prop with genuine rust texture included for your flaming brand. LOL. macAttached Link: http://www.awfulsoul.com/
HyS Temple by Awful Soul (free) comes with a dirt/stone floor. It's sloped, but you can angle it to level. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. Wondering if there are any resouces out there for a dirt floor that is somewhat uneven. Quick render to show what I mean. If I use the same stone as the walls you can see that there are certain repeating stones, and if the same stone in the floor is close to the one in the wall it won't work. Thanks, Marque
