I'm sure I'm dense. I'm trying to change the hair to blue-white instead of blond, red or black. I've got the following settings:

And this is the texture file I'm using for both locations:

I can't figure out where the yellow is coming from. Any ideas? BTW, I'm using the above graphic for both places it calls to a graphic, not just one.

http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=750369&Start=1&Artist=Ethesis&ByArtist=Yes Problem went away between renders. You can see it in the WIP version. Well, don't know how that happened, but guess I can't expect a solution if there isn't a problem anymore.

Hi Ethesis. I can't read your setings in the image too well but the yellow tinting in the bottom of the map is very weird. It's odd that you're not getting the results with the same setting in every render and I can only assume that this is yet another P5 glitch. Have you tried tweaking the settings a bit more to see if this goes away?

I tried all sorts of tweaks -- no joy. Changed out the maps over and over again (though I finally got one that I think is better for my needs than the one I started with -- the blue white one I have in minature), and then, suddenly, after a reboot (not that I didn't reboota number of times inbetween), it is gone. I think you are right that it is some artifact that just faded away out of glitchiness, though generally I've not had any P5 problems. Hey, my first P5 SR4 problem! Ok, I guess I shouldn't take glitches so lightly, but once they are gone. Problem gone here: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=750369&Start=1&Artist=Ethesis&ByArtist=Yes graphic, same render with the problem in evidence: (and yes, it just looks like I've not applied the white.jpg to the entire hair set, but I had -- more than once, and to both jpegs -- which is why it was frustrating -- that yellow cast was carrying through on it and I couldn't find a reason for it).

Your images looks wonderful! Hmmm, if it went away with a reboot then it almost certainly is your first P5 SR4 problem! Keep me posted if there are any more problems.

It is the hair and the KimiyA texture that make the character work. I'll let you know if anything else happens, but right now I'm happy as I can be. I'm just using the hair for this one character, so I'm hoping the problem is fixed.
