Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 27 9:18 am)
I know nothing about walk cycles since I never do animation but I can tell you that it isn't gimbal lock.
Gimbal lock is the weird thing that happens when you rotate an object about the X Y and Z axes. You'd imagine that the model would remember which is which and move accordingly, right? Wrong. Eventually, one or more of the rotations will start to behave in a weird way and not move how you'd expect.

Coppula eam se non posit acceptera jocularum.
That would be a no. Also, Walk designer does not work well with figures that are not grouped using the standard poser settings -- notably Victoria and Michael.
thou and I, my friend, can, in the most flunkey world, make, each of us, one non-flunkey, one hero, if we like: that will be two heroes to begin with. (Carlyle)

Nerd has made walk designer things to make victoria 3 and michael 3 work (at the link ) but they are not free. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. This is probably a common question - I noticed that during sometime during a walk sequence, one or two frames will have the knee doing something really weird, such as snapping inward. What causes this? How do I prevent it? ARP
