Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 10 8:20 am)
You can download some free brushes from Freestuff here, and there are a number of them for sale in the Marketplace. As for the Inverse Kinematics thing, under the Figure menu, you will see "Inverse Kinematics. Under that, uncheck everything (right and left legs are usually checked by default) BTW, I fixed your title... :P

You may need to redo her and try to tone down the muscles on her legs and conform the boots. When a figure has lots of leg muscles it makes it harder to conform the clothing. I use Poser4 and zero the legs down so the cloths will fit. Try usng the default pose in Poser first, then add the cloths, then the pose and then try rendering it in Photoshop. It's a sweet character, you just need to tweak her a bit more. ;)

To address the 'IK' issue, IK is inverse kinematics, which is how a computer computes the way the bone structure works. When you move your hand, the arm and shoulder follow, that's nature. with IK you can simulate this effect in poser, or any other 3d app. When you have IK turned on, and say you move the hip down, the feet stay in place, and the legs bend to simulate natural movement into a squatting position, adversly if you selected the foot, and moved it up, the leg would bend to simulate natural movement. If you had IK turned off, and moved the hip down, the whole character would move down because there is no base to realism. Sometimes when you create a pose that is out of the natural IK range, you get seperation of the mesh, Which looks like the trouble you are having. I agree with everyone else, try turning IK off and adjusting the pose that way. (Just in case your not sure, the IK option is located in the character drop down menue.) Hope this helps with the IK issue, I appologise if it is still unclear. (I'm not good at describing things)
"IK" is a shortened form of "ick" -- a parasitic disease common to freshwater tropical aquarium fish.
It looks to me like bad joint parameters (the pulling at the very bottom of the boot being a telltale sign of the innermatsphere not being big enough). Perhaps contacting the creator of this set and asking if the boots have been tested in a similar pose as this? Farside, you shouldn't have to use magnets all the time on bought clothing. It should conform correctly OOTB.

It should conform correctly I have yet to dl a clothing pak from here that fits correctly of any character that it claims to fit. Especally, V3. With the exception of PhilC's stuff. So, if I bought clothing for V3 it would automatically fit that character without a struggle in P4? Doubt it. ;) (MHO)
"It should 100% conform and fit a standard (non morphed body) V3. If it isn't, you should return the item/s and get a refund." This is the standard to which all stores hold, according to my info. Bodies which are morphed or changed are an entirely different matter, however. If you are buying clothing from a merchant and this isn't true, then you really need to share that info.
thou and I, my friend, can, in the most flunkey world, make, each of us, one non-flunkey, one hero, if we like: that will be two heroes to begin with. (Carlyle)
