3d studio max would certainly do it but it may be overkill in terms of cost. (unless you already know how to run it.) Lightwave would be a cheaper option and is an excellent product. There are a group of free or cheap modellers that you could try. Silo, Shade, Anim8or, blender etc. There are plenty of tutorials around on making clothes for poser.
Ok thanks, yes I have used 3D mazx b4 but you my be right with overkill...I think Ill try grab a copy of lightwave. Another question, is there a crisper way of doing tatoo's than me applying them on the skin I have on model as it comes out slightly blurred in render, is it easier to make them like an item of clothing?
the only way to make tattoos or any other texture "crisper" is to increase its resolution by creating a larger texture map. if you know how big (in pixel dimensions) the texture will appear in your final render, you can calculate the size of the texture map necessary to produce a sharp image. you won't need to create your map any bigger than this.

I wa wandering if anyone had any suggestions on the best way to make clothes/armour for my models in Poser 5. Am I best getting something like 3d studio max and modeeling them and importing? or is there an easier way or better way to make them? I dont want anything too flat looking and I dont mind things taking time.
