Band aid did not work. Next time I'll tear the front. Have you ever tried to stitch your own back, it's very difficult.

Blonde hair dipped in tomato sauce? Hey, if you change it to a water texture it looks like a fast river flowing over rocks. I could use that in my current scene!

(Those raised bumps are part of the terrain, There is no bump map being used) I see what you mean, though, with the water aspect. AS

I was talking about your first render up at the top, not the bubble wrap one. Your second render reminds me of Hi-tech Kevlar.

Wrap it around a cylinder and hey presto! An old tree stump!

If only we could do that with Terrains....but, then of course they would be called displacement maps...(grrr). AS

BIG request for Bryce 6! DAZ Studio can already use them, as of right now, no Bryce can. Basically; you know how a bump map, gives a texture bump? Well, a displacement map gives a bump by actually changing the geometry of the model at the time of rendering. While a terrain or lattice in Bryce can only "flat", as they are made up of just height, a disaplcement map can be wrapped in any way or direction. Let me show you an example;

Gonna be useful...but as what? Billowing curtain? Flowing magma? From Photoshop CS2. Using the "fibers" and "liquify" filters in 16-bit grayscale, imported into Bryce as a .pgm AgentSmithContact Me | Gallery | Freestuff | IMDB Credits | Personal Site
