Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 21 6:06 am)
Logan, I like the wet effect, but I honestly think the hands look terrible. Stand in front of a mirror, and put your hands above your head like that. Are your fingers going to be that straight? The hands look like default hands that have not been posed at all. (PS This is meant as constructive criticism, hope it's taken that way.)

I agree with the shine on the face being too much. I also notice that the water she's in is "smoth as glass" but there are two waterfalls near her. You've done a great job by adding the mist but I think the water itself needs more turbulence where she's standing. I with I could recommend a way to do that but I don't know how - unless you take apart a real photo in Photoshop and layer it around her(?????).
Before they made me they broke the mold!

You'd still have to play around to reduce the overall specularity, and as I said earlier, there are too many (5) lights in my default setup, it was just to give you something to play with.. (I was trying to do the examples within the 'Rosity 15-min deadline for posts. I failed. Got bounced back to main forum. I could have set up a better example if I'd known I had more time..) But anyway, hope that helps.. Play with the idea:-)) Cheers, Diolma Of course, if you're using a version of Poser that is pre V5, then ignore all the above:-((
LOL yep Diolma, I did this render in P4 ProPack SR3. I do however have P5 installed on this machine and I do use it so ill be referring to this advice in the future :) The large square of shine on her cheek has been bothering me as well. I dont want to disturb the rest of the render by adjusting any lighting so ill address that in postwork. Thanks for the extra eyes everyone!!!
OK ive done some really quick primitive postwork. The large square reflection on her right cheek is now a more narrow curved rectangle, and ive clonestamped out some "mesh crease" would you call it? Anyhow it was on the insides of each of her elbows. Thumbnail and gallery image both updated. The still water around her hips hasnt been addressed yet. maybe I can do something with redfields ripple plugin!

Yep. Guess valentines day put me in a funky mood, but Ive done my first "style switch". Fear not - no sword, no temple. Ive still SOME pride for craps sake. Its not even Victoria, but Stephanie..........1.0 For a first in this style, im pretty pleased with it, but ive gotten jack for critiques, so Id love to hear from some of the many people around here that render circles around me on a regular basis ;) No, the nudity aint here in the thread (ya degenerate, you) tag enabled cause of linked nudity. I mean really, you can see the whole back of her front, or words to that effect. Link above, lemme have it technically I can take it :) thanks for readin, Logan
