DAZ|Studio F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 16 1:35 pm)
That could be Ghost, not sure. I was testing while I was waiting for an answer, and this is what I could duplicate and com up with. I reloaded all the items in that same scene, and then saved them. It all worked good, no prob, that is until I resized V3. i resized V3 and then all the clothes and stuff went out of wack again. I am not sure if this did the problem, but could someone do sort of the same test? Load up V3 with some pose and some clothes (any clothes), resize V3 down below 50%, and save it. Exit DS, load DS again and load that same scenery, and see if the clothin is out of wack. If it is, then its a bug, if not, then I guess its just me, or something I cant figure out. THANKS All...
OK I dont want to re-write again the entire story, lol, so gonna give U the link to Daz forums where I posted this. Perhaps someone that has that package could do a test on this, if time is available and U dont mind that is. Daz3D Thread
The title of this thread is incorrect. You imply that ALL D|S scenes will not reload properly. I've successfully loaded ALL of my D|S scenes, including scenes made by older versions of D|S. True, I do not scale my characters or clothes. I do hope you find the cause and solution of your problem soon.

Soul, if U can load all your scenes no matter which version of DS U used to save em, then can U load a scene, and then scale V3 up and down, and see what happens? That will tell if my statement is correct. U do not have to scale the clothes, just V3 or M3 whatever U have loaded in the scene. Thankx...
I loaded Victoria 3 in a scene, scaled her up and down. I saved her and reloaded her. No problems. Your situation is likely different than mine. However, you should bear in mind that your situation is not unique. There is no need to treat it as an individual problem.
There are some scaling issues with DAZ|Studio, and they are working on the problem.
I've seen several forum posts about that problem.

Sorry I am simply late in reading this post. I also have this problem but it appears only with some conforming figures when you use the fit to option. As soon as you reload a scenes saved the scaling of the conforming objects a doubled. To correct this you will have to rescale the % of all the conforming figure to the % used by the main figure (in your case V3) by hand. I know it is painful but I did not find any other way doing it. Hope this helps.
