aside from a few minor snafus regarding the php software, there have been no arguments nor bad feelings, nor the usual threats from folks that they were gonna leave here and never come back. even the "giant boob" threads and "poser is not art" threads have been amicable. we were waiting for you to get back to start the fireworks :lol: p.s. Wow. I'm pleased. I hate coming back to bad news. On the other hand it would have been nice to come back to excited discussion on the genuine enhancements and upgraded features of the newly announced Poser 7. I have no idea who the lovely young lady is. It's obvious from her eyes that she wishes I could join her in the 3D realm. And knowing dphoadley she's probably anatomically correct so we (she & I) would have that in common. Unfortunately the last time I tried to digitize myself my computer threw up. Hmmm. An odd thing about the concept of "correct:" "Correct" isn't - at least not always. For example "anatomically correct" definately isn't the same as "politically correct." This makes one wonder, "is anything truly correct?"

She IS anatomically correct.  She is NEAwwg, and is the result of combining Pitklad's NEAena with Arduino's P4WWG.  I spent 3 days just remapping the hip so that it would texturally conform to the rest of the figure.  Now Posette not only can use Vicky 2's textures, she can have genderal fun while doing so.

PS: The genital region still needs a little work in UV Mapper, but is still fully functional and usable for all that

Well, she's a primal kind of gal.  I can see her presiding over Human sacrifices in some long forgotten temple, eons ago: as wild and woderful as a Tigress.  Or perhaps a servant of Ishtar, performing wildly exotic sexual acts, in glorification of her goddess.  (In Babylon, every woman, whether married or unmarried, had to serv a term in the Temple of Ishtar as a ritual prostitute.  The act of coitus was considered as a form of communion with the diety). hanks for the Happy Birthday, but I must tell you that this dialogue isn't likely to happen soon.  Unfortunately, the length of the Mediterean Sea and the width of the Atlantic Ocean seperate between us.  It's been two years since I last saw her, and I miss her very much.  She lives in Boropark, and I live in Bat-Yam (a township just south of Tel-Aviv).
I wish that my daughters hadn't moved so far away, one in New Jersey, one in New York, and one in California, but when they reach an age when they go out into the world to seek fame, fortune , and husbands, there's little I can do to stop them.  Such is life.

When you come visit them, you can stop by my house. It's right in the middle of all three. When I checked Google Maps I saw that there was less than three inches between my house and any of those places. Of course I might be a little biased; I believe the world revolves around Texas.

Lorenzo Quimper and Ransom Rusk, two of the main protagonists in James A. Mitchner's novel 'Texas' thought that the world revolved around Texas too.
However, it really revolves around Israel.  Check any map from the middle ages to about 150 years ago, and see how the three main continents, Europe, Asia and Africa are all joined at the foci of Jerusalem.
On a less frivolous note, Israel today is again at war with Lebanon, this time following the abduction of two of our soldiers, and the murder of another by Hisboulla Terrorist.  It would seem, just like Texas not so long ago, we too must canstantly battle our own version of Comancheros, Bandits, and Comanche if we wish to hold onto and enjoy our Patrimony in peace.

I've never got the feeling that the Romans were being exonerated in any way. It's always appeared to me that certain individuals were responsible for making their own choices - and that to attribute the event to any whole group was utter foolishness. There is a lot of utter foolishness out there. I can't do anything but speculate about Pilate since I don't know him persaonally. I do know, however, that objectively speaking we all act 'out of character' once in a while. Anyway, if we get much more religious oriented this thread will probably be deemed too off-topic for the forum and we'll get crucif- I mean the thread will get locked.

There are at least 4 subjects that should never be discussed in bars, or any other public forums...

1. Religion.
2. Politics.
3. "What is Art"
4. Your spouse-girl/boyfriend.

And why not?

'Cos the feelings are all subjective, and any opinions cannot be subjected to proof. Which results in (if the persons involved cannot agree to differ) -- WAR!!!

This thread has gone a long way toward telling me what I have missed since I used to visit this forum daily.

(And I now know what all those parking spaces nearest the store doors are really for  -- I have never seen an actual handicapped person getting out of a vehicle parked there -- and that Christians hate Mel Gibson too.)

Oh, and BTW - what has (the majority of) this thread got to do with how to get better art out of Poser? Or, if it comes to it, anything at all to do with Poser?

I asked what I missed in the Poser forum. I found I hadn't missed anything significant except for inspiration and comraderie. Now I'm inspired to continue making Poser art, and try to make it better, just so I can come back. That works for me. [grin]

Chuck Norris or Mel Gibson? Being one of the "ladies" I'll jump in here. Mel Gibson WAS populare among me and my friends, but about 10 years ago we thought he started to look a bit like an old woman :(    To bad, he was a hunk and there aren't really any other who could take his place, I think (someone proberly going to bite my head of for that comment). Chuck Norris never meant anything to me.

but he was such a good judge in Dodgeball!..;)
