Rodluc is your man for castles - though to be truthful, I don't know offhand if he has interiors. There are definitely a few rooms and other construction pieces at Joe's Art Gallery - you could assemble your own for some scenes. I don't know of any complete interiors, though. That would be an enormous modelling task.
If could need it. The mesh is done, ok, in C4D, but can output as OBJ quickly. It's roughly assembled with material groups but not uv mapped at the moment. But procedural materials should work well but you have to do them in Vue.
It's round 60 MB, but I can split it as 2-4 parts for partial loading.
Have a look to some screen shots.
Thanks for the interest and well, it's on a good way ... first will finish the jail cart cause it have to be scaled according to that big outdoor's ... would be to bad if passengers have to walk outside cause cart is to big ...
B.t.w. folks, what do you think. Should I make one or some or all outside walls as separat actors. So they could than be hidden for better camera positioning. Normally I found that the cells or rooms are big enough for camera setting, but under special circumstances ...
I tend to have only some bigger parts like ground floor and walls correctly uv mapped. There are lot's of smaller parts like a pump handle or some iron work, there I see no real need for a uv map. Procedural shaders will work best.
But with a big wall may be someone will paint some real pictures on it, e.g. background in the court room or such.
Rigging isn't a big thing only a matter of diligence. So I think in one month it should be finished, stay tuned on this channel ...

Does anyone know of any castles/fortresses that include a complete interior (rooms, halls, towers, etc.)? I would prefer a free one, but would not object to paying for one, or even paying a lot for one that is of high quality. I use Vue, but obj format would be great. Not collada, though- I found a castle with a complete interior in collada format, but unfortunately, Vue crashes every time I try to import it. I would appreciate any help!
