No, I have noticed this too. It didn't bother me though, since the effect isn't very obvious.

Yup, me too. I never trust the eye rotation dials or the point-at something option, they never seem to get the eye rotations quite right, especially when they are some way off to the side.
I downloaded some freebie V4 eye props from somewhere. They parent to the eyes, and the idea is you select a camera which is positioned where you want the character to be looking, zoom in close (without moving the camera) and line up the centre of each iris with a cross-hair using the rotate dials. Then make them invisible, and switch back to your render camera (if different).
It sounds good in theory, but I haven't tried them yet.

I haven't heard of that prop set. Let me know if it works. I've used the Point At function for quite a while but it just doesn't work well with V4's wonky eyes.

They're at the link, if so - scroll down a bit (but not too far if you're at work, 'cos there's a nekkid person on there). :)
They look useful, but I haven't had the opportunity to use them yet, either.
Thanks for the links. I was going to try the 2 ball method instead of the 1, point one eye to the one ball and so on to the other. Allowing me to move each eye and see how that works. Sometimes that looking at you pose can make or break and image and when you think you have it, that lazy eye V4 has just stands out like a sore thumb imo. I"m wondering if the eye frame which would make the template be a tad off so making the iris/pupil texture have that slightly off center look to the eye. The eye issue bugs me more than her huge toes. :)

Is it me, or is V4 kind of cross eyed? I bought V4 when she rolled out, and it's always kind of bugged me but after working with a few poses recently,it's really bugging me. It seems the right eye, as I look at her, tends to "drift" to the left some compared to the left eye. So the dead on look at the camera is slightly off. I'm even using the prop ball. Maybe the mapping is off some on that eye? Making the iris placement just slightly off by a bit? Maybe it's just me.
