Hi all, No matter what eyeball texture i use... it always seems to have some sort of reflection on it and i cant get rid of it.

Is there a setting that i need to uncheck? i am using poser 2010.

thanks

you should show "advanced" tab settings for material room, otherwise it's impossible to see what the shader is actually doing.

If you have gamma correction on in you render settings, you will need to compensate certain maps (trans, spec and bump, etc) to 1

Is this when you render or - as in the above image - are you referring to what you see in preview mode? BTW, that's pretty much the dead-eye V4 look as she comes out of the box. Bagginsbill has a really nice eye shader to change it.

Here is an exemple ( under PPro 2010 )

The highlight of the evsphere was augmented for improving the eyes reflexion ( a bit exagerated :D )

For the cornea i've created two props from the V4 cornea, both are parented to the eyes and dont cast shadows.

The cornea shader, it come from the BB shader found in the antonia thread.

Remember the two cornea are props from the V4 eyes and dont cats shadows.

The V4 eyesurface is totally transparent, same for the V4 cornea.

And the V4 sclera shader, same but image map instead the refraction.

EV, it appears that you have multiple problems, first check your cornea settings the transparency should be set to 1 for both eyes unless the eye texture map is applied there, then it should be zero. Next in the case of the former, ensure that you have an eye texture map applied to the iris and that its transparency  is set to zero.  Zero out everything else except diffused value, that should get back to the basic, no reflection.  Jan
