You're talking about the background layer, right? If so, try double clicking on that layer, it should do the trick.

Resize a layer in Photoshop1. Select the layer
2.Type Ctrl-T to transform
3. Drag on corner handles (hold Shift button to constrain proportions)
4. Double-click inside to commit

Hello all and once again hope you are all having a wonderful weekend
Listen I thogut I had ask this once but cant find the thread if I did, so asking again.
Please can someone tell me if it is possible to resize a layer once I have placed it on my orig picture in Photoshop.
I want to make borders useing multiple layes but cant figure out how to do the following.
1, make my outter layre larger then the orig picture.
2, Crop the inner part of the layre that will be placed over the orig picture or second layer.
Any info will be much appreciated
